Jack Vamp & The Castle of Creep

Jack Vamp doesn't like grayscale. This combo, with singer/bassist Arthur Boussiron in the lead, resolutely opts for multicolored pop music as in: rock + funk + a thick cloud of soul gold powder. Catchy and danceable, with versatile lyrics, mostly upbeat, sometimes on the downers, but always with the intensity knob cranked up to 10. A ménage à trois of Prince, The Smiths and Ariel Pink.
